Submittals shouldn't live in inboxes and spreadsheets

The problem

  • Submittals get scattered across email threads, shared drives, and spreadsheets — so nobody is sure which revision is current.
  • Status questions turn into phone calls and forwarded emails, and reviewers lose track of who has the ball.
  • Review windows slip quietly; days-in-review balloons before anyone notices.
  • Revisions and resubmittals lose their history, so approvals can't be traced back to what was actually reviewed.
  • Architects and owners can't check status without asking, which pulls your team away from real work.

The fix

  • One master log per project — number, trade, type, status, revision, and ball-in-court in a single view, across every job you run.
  • Every change lands in a permanent audit trail, so you always know who did what, when, and why it changed.
  • Due dates and days-in-review are tracked for you, with instant alerts on urgent changes and a daily digest for routine updates.
  • Revisions and resubmittals stay linked to their original record, with files attached and history intact.
  • A secure, view-only share link gives architects and owners live status — no account, no emails, and you can revoke it any time.

Sound familiar? Put every submittal back on track.

Security & privacy

Invitation-only accounts, no public sign-up, and no social login — access stays controlled end to end.

Row-level security

Users only see the projects and submittals they are allowed to access, enforced on the server.

Revocable share tokens

View-only links use secure, non-guessable tokens and can be switched off instantly.

Private project data

Project workspaces and shared links stay out of search engines and behind invitation-only access.

Breach-checked passwords

Passwords are checked against known-breached lists and reset links use a secure PKCE flow.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers on project tracking, secure sharing, invitations, and email notifications.

How does multi-project tracking work?+

Each job gets its own workspace with a name, job number, client, location, and a custom submittal prefix. A project switcher moves you between jobs, and the master submittal log keeps every shop drawing, product data sheet, sample, and O&M manual — plus every revision — in one place per project.

Who can see my project data?+

Access is enforced server-side with row-level security. Users only see the projects and submittals their role allows, and the same person can hold different roles on different projects — company admin, project admin, reviewer, or viewer.

How do shared links work? Are they secure?+

You can toggle public link sharing per project to hand architects, engineers, or owner reps a secret, view-only link. No account is needed, the token is non-guessable, and sharing can be revoked instantly — the link stops working the moment you switch it off.

How do I get an account?+

Submittal Dock is invitation-only — there is no public sign-up. Your company admin sends an invitation email, and you sign in with a magic link or a password (with secure reset and breach-checked passwords). Need access? Ask your company admin or contact Savvy4, Inc.

What email notifications will I get?+

Urgent events — new submittals, status changes, revisions, resubmittals — fire immediately, while routine updates roll into a daily digest. Each recipient can filter notifications by trade, so you only hear about the packages you care about.

Can I review past notifications and activity?+

Yes. Every new submittal, edit, status change, revision, and deletion is recorded in a permanent activity trail, and an email outbox lets admins review delivery and bounces — plus send themselves a test email any time.
